Post-review Policy

Post-review Policy

In order to further enforce and better manage the Contents Review Guideline, Dable has implemented a post-review policy applicable for all ad contents. This policy will not only create a satisfactory user experience, but also help publishers achieve brand trust and gain monetary benefits by ensuring the delivery of clean and safe ads.

1. What is a post-review policy?

Dable’s post-review policy mainly consists of inspection methods to ensure that the ad content being published through Dable’s media network upon approval is the same as the content at the time of content review.

Dable strictly forbids any and all changes to the content of the landing page after the reviewer’s final approval. If the content of the landing page is changed, it is the advertiser’s duty to request a re-review.

By enforcing this policy, Dable strives to protect itself along with tens and thousands of media partners, advertisers and users from any possible social and/or legal consequences that may occur as a result of a policy violation.

2. When and how is this policy enforced?

Both the advertiser and Dable have the responsibility to provide clean and safe ads to users and publishers 24/7, 365 days.

To ensure a fair inspection process, exact frequency of the inspection cannot be disclosed, but random inspections are performed regularly on all active ad contents.

So what will exactly happen once a violation has been detected?

  • Advertiser account and all active ad campaigns will be suspended immediately for an unspecified period of time
  • An email with details of the policy violation will be sent to the advertiser

⚠️ Depending on the severity of the violation, advertiser account may be permanently disabled without a refund on the remaining ad budget.

Specifics of the consequences, such as the severity and duration of the punishment, are to be decided case-by-case. However, we can assure that immediate and firm actions will be taken against advertisers that knowingly violate the guideline since Dable already has a very specific and detailed Content Guideline readily available for all advertisers. Please also refer to the prohibited products or services list to see legal compliance requirements and precautions by country.

3. Lastly, why is this policy necessary?

As the No. 1 content discovery platform in Asia, Dable is putting in various efforts to set higher standards within the industry by delivering valuable content through high-quality ads.

Dable conducts preliminary screening of all contents to prevent the exposure of overly sensitive and inappropriate ads to users. However, there had been cases of advertisers making unauthorized modifications to the ad content after approval, which negatively impacted the users’ ad viewing experience as well as the reputation of the media.

Following this policy, Dable will conduct an additional screening to approved ads to check its compliance with Dable’s policy and to prevent advertisers from arbitrarily changing the content of the landing page.

Dable will continue to take active measures to ensure the delivery of safe and high-quality ads in the best interests of users, publishers and advertisers.

Any questions regarding post-review policy or other content-related issues, please contact us at ad-policy@dable.io.

Tips for Education advertisers

Tips on Utilizing Dable Native Ad for Education Advertisers

With COVID-19 causing a rapid rise of the new ‘zero contact’ world, education industry is also actively shifting the focus to online education and digital marketing. Why are more and more education advertisers choosing Dable Native Ad?

  • Powerful media network: Dable is Korea’s biggest media network that can successfully target both parents and students. With partnerships with more than 2,000 media companies, including general daily newspapers, economic journals and magazines, as well as APP and communities, Dable is Korea’s #1 content discovery platform that everyone in Korea comes across an average of 30 times a month.
  • Personalized article (content) recommendation section: Dable Native Ad is placed in the personalized article (content) recommendation section. Customers are exposed to ads in the process of finding new content to consume, so they pay more attention to the advertiser’s ad content as well. Spread the differentiating points and vivid educational reviews of your business through Dable.
  • Reasonable ad billing: You can start Dable Ad regardless of the size of your ad budget. Ad exposure is free. You are charged only when the user has an interaction (click) with the ad.
  • Effective and convenient ad operation: Just upload the content and we’ll do the rest. Dable’s algorithm learns and automatically optimizes campaign performance. You can also start and stop the campaign at any time.

Operational strategies, target audience differ depending on the services being provided by the business, especially in the education industry. Below tips are from past Dable Ad campaigns of education advertisers and they may help you get some new idea for your own ad campaign.

Schools/Institutions for Studying Abroad

Schools/Institutions for Studying Abroad mainly ran ad campaigns to collect customer leads for recruiting participants for consultations and to increase awareness among students and parents.

  • Use your social media channel as the landing page.
Many educational institutions run various social media channels as a way to communicate with potential customers, introduce the business by posting information that the target audience may be interested in. You can further spread these social media content through Dable. For example, if you use “Top 3 tips for a college student” as the ad title and link a relevant content, it’s very likely that most of the people that click on the ad will be college students. You can expect branding effects as well as the promotion of social media channels to these newly acquired users.
  • Include community media if it’s a traffic-driven campaign.
A big percentage of Dable’s affiliated community media users are in their 30s or younger. If you’re running a traffic campaign to target students, be sure to include community media where you can expose ads with a 2-30% discounted bidding price. This helps with lowering the overall CPC of the campaign and is also effective with increasing traffic.
  • Create a detailed customer lead collection form with Dable Content.
If you want to collect customer leads for studying abroad/admissions counseling or recruiting participants for consultations, you can create a lead collection page using the tools provided by Dable for free. Collecting basic customer information in advance enables smooth consultation process.

Preschool/Elementary education

Education for preschool/elementary school students includes education services using a learning device. Most ad campaigns were aimed at increasing awareness and attracting potential customers.

  • Please indicate the age group for using the service in the ad title.
To help users know the target age group of the service, including keywords such as “4-5 years old”, “Kindergarten” in the ad title can prevent unnecessary ad spending.
  • Target parents by organizing a review content featuring actual customers.
Try using an ad title like “User’s actual review” and relevant image for your ad. Within the same ad campaign, an image where a child is actually using the learning device (CTR: 0.15%) had a better response rate compared to the image that was not using the device (CTR: 0.08%). Delivering detailed reviews and success stories on the landing page can successfully persuade the parents to try using the service.
  • Add an alternative to the customer lead collection form, such as a telephone connection.
Install a customer lead collection form on the landing page of Lead Collection campaign. In case some customers are reluctant to leave their personal information online, it’s a good idea to provide a secondary alternatives, such as telephone consultations. However, too many alternatives will distract the users so we recommend using two or less.

💡 Dable Content – If you use Article Type for the connecting page, you can create a link that connects directly to call from your mobile phone.

Middle/High school education

Educational institutions for middle and high school students mainly focused on customer lead collection campaigns for recruiting students for college consultations and regular classes.

  • Create a mobile-friendly landing page.
Mobile campaigns generally showed high response rates compared to desktop for this industry.
  • Use specific ad title to make users aware of the content before clicking on it.
For example, ad content that used the keyword “boarding academy” in the title had a higher response rate compared to the content without the keyword within the same campaign.
  • Offline-based academies/event-related campaigns should set up geo targeting.
Alternatively, including the ‘region name’ in the ad title increases the likelihood of customers who are able to visit the specific area to click on the advertisement. Number of exposures may reduce when setting up geo targeting so increasing the CPC bidding can increase the chances of getting more exposure.

Language Education

Language education consists of services such as basic foreign language learning and preparation for foreign language tests and campaign objectives were usually to increase awareness and memberships.

  • Expose your ads everywhere without restrictions on the media type and device.
Ad performance between different devices and media types in the language education industry wasn’t too clear. Meet potential users throughout the Dable network. Subsequently, adjust the detailed exposure settings for each site if necessary.
  • Famous models induce users to click on the ad.
If you’re already working with a famous model or an influencer for marketing your service, try using images with people on the front page for Dable. Within the same campaign, content using famous models had a response rate 6% higher than average.
  • Reviews from students trigger conversion.
Conversion rate for membership sign-up was 26% higher when the ad titile, image and the landing page included real reviews from students. Legitimate reviews of people who are similar to me increase the trustworthiness of the service.

💡 Images with the following keywords had the highest CTR after conducting an analysis on thumbnail images of language education industry ads exposed through Dable. Check out the detailed analysis report here.

  • No text
  • Person
  • Person and book
  • Indoor setting

Job/hobby and certificate test training for adults

Job/hobby and certificate test training for adults include services such as talent sharing platforms and online/offline certificate education services and campaign objectives were usually to increase the number of new members.

  • Avoid DA banner types with text in the image.
Dable Native Ad is exposed with an image and title in the content (article) recommendation area. Images with text are typically not used as content (articles), so exposing such content can make the ad seem unnatural. In fact, response rate and conversion rate were three times higher for images without text compared to images with text within the same campaign.
  • Let the users know about the ‘Expected results from education’ and ‘Benefits of click on the ad’.
Ad titles defining the expected results from receiving the education such as ‘Earn extra salary’, ‘How to work smarter’ and ‘Certificate to prepare for old age and to solve financial problems’ had a response rate twice as high than average. If there is an event giving out lecture textbooks for free, let the users know about the benefits of clicking on the ad by putting ‘Free textbooks’ in the ad title. Content that included ‘Free textbook’ in the title showed a conversion rate twice as high as the content without such keyword within the same campaign.
  • Include the target audience in the ad title.
Prevent unnecessary ad spending by inputting keywords relevant to the target audience such as ‘College student’, ‘Stay-at-home mom’, ‘Office workers’.

💡 You don’t need to create an image only for Dable Native Ad. Dable provides a high-quality image library for free exclusively for advertisers.

Tips for Hospitals/Healthcare advertisers

Tips on Utilizing Dable Native Ad for Hospitals/Healthcare Advertisers

Dable Native Ad is a platform where hospital advertisers can effectively expand their contact with potential customers online. Why should hospital / healthcare advertisers choose Dable Native Ad?

  • Article(Content) recommendation area: Dable Native Ad is exposed in the same form as actual articles in the ‘Recommended Articles’ section. Users naturally encounter advertisements during the process of consuming Dable’s affiliated media contents, so hospital’s expertise, which is difficult to communicate through regular search ads, can be smoothly communicated to users as content.
  • Reasonable ad billing: You can start Dable Ad regardless of the size of ad budget. Ad exposure is free and you are charged only when the user has an interaction (click) with the ad.
  • Effective and convenient ad operation: Dable’s algorithm learns and automatically optimizes campaign performance. You can also start and stop the campaign at any time.
  • Geotargeting by city/county/district: When customers in our neighborhood spend time consuming content online, you can deliver messages to them day and night.

How can hospital / healthcare advertisers utilize Dable Native Ad? Customers follow these stages before finally choosing a hospital: [Awareness] – [Consideration] – [Conversion (Visit)]. Here are some helpful tips on how you can use Dable Native Ad for customers at each stage.

1. Set your campaign objective.

Set the goals you want to achieve through advertising. In order to encourage the customers to move on from their current stage to the next stage, you can set the following objectives.

  • Awareness – Increase awareness: The objective is to inform the hospital to customers who are not aware of the hospital yet. It’s like putting up the hospital sign online. Customers see the ad or click on the ad and reach the landing page that is linked to the ad to get to know more about the hospital.
  • Consideration – Increase website traffic: Customers who feel the need for medical care are in the stage of exploring hospitals and the objective is to remind potential customers to choose our hospital by encouraging them to visit the hospital’s website, blog, etc.
  • Conversion – Collect cusotmer leads: The objective is to collect leads for consultation from customers who are ready to complete the consideration phase and choose a hospital. Request information from customers who click on the ad and visit the landing page. The hospital contacts the customer with the collected information and schedules the consultation appointment.

💡 You can have more than 1 objective at once. You are able to run multi-objective campaigns at the same time.

💡 As it is directly related to health, customers choose the hospital very carefully with sufficient information and time. Even if there is no immediate conversion through advertising, awareness and consideration-stage campaigns are important.

2. Create a campaign and content to achieve your objectives.

Upload content and create a campaign with Dable Marketing Dashboard.

💡 Dable Marketing Dashboard is a platform to create and manage Dable ad campaigns. You need an advertiser account to access the Marketing Dashboard. If you don’t have an ad account yet, please refer to the support page and create an account.

What is a campaign?

Campaign is a group that binds content together. You can set the budget, campaign period, budget distribution option and targeting by campaign.

① Upload at least 2 contents per campaign.

Until you actually run the campaign, you can’t be sure what kind of responses each content will bring about from the customers. Upload at least two contents to increase the probability of leading a positive response from the customers.

② Be careful not to duplicate campaigns with the same strategy.

A campaign is a unit of ad optimization. Duplicating campaigns create unnecessary competition within the same advertiser. For convenience, separate the campaigns and upload the corresponding content if the budget, campaign period and targeting are different.

Following are examples of campaigns and content.

  • Depending on the treatment
    • Normal treatment campaign: Bundang, looking for a cavity treatment?
    • Implant campaign: How to choose the right dental “implant”?
  • Depending on the target customer
    • Office worker targeting campaign: solution for straight neck syndrome
    • Student targeting campaign: Summer break, 3 secret tips to get pretty
  • Depending on the seasonal issue
    • Chuseok campaign: 000 surgery during chuseok, is it possible?
  • Depending on the device
    • Desktop campaign, mobile campaign

③ If it’s a region-based hospital, set up geo targeting.

Select the area where the hospital is located and if possible, also the surrounding neighborhoods. Ad exposure may significantly decrease when setting up geo targeting. If you increase your CPC, you are more likely to get more opportunities for exposure.

💡 If you include the ‘region name’ in the ad title without setting up geo targeting, patients who are able to visit the area where the hospital is located are more likely to click on the ad with nationwide exposure.

What is a content?

Content is an ad creative displayed alongside real-time recommended articles on ad spaces designated for personalized ads on Dable’s partner sites. Before you create a campaign, you must upload a content. Once you upload a content, you can use the same content for multiple campaigns.

Content consists of ad title, thumbnail image, ad description (optional) and leads to the linked landing page once the ad is clicked.

① 고객의 관심을 유도하는 콘텐츠 만들기

Encourage customers to click on the ad by using fascinating copy and image. Provocative ad titles cause unnecessary ad spending with useless clicks and may result in high bounce rates. We recommend that you include all the important information at the beginning of the ad title since some parts of the title may be cut off depending on the ad space.

If you don’t have any images, you can choose from hundreds of images that available for free on the Dable Image Library.

💡 What are some of the characteristics of a hospital / healthcare ad thumbnail image that grasps the customers’ attention? We analyzed the thumbnail images of hospital / healthcare ads that were exposed with Dable and images with the higest CTR had below keywords.

  • Illustration
  • Person in the photo is far away
  • No text
  • Male
  • Black background

💡 Dable offers “Content Creation Service” for advertisers seeking for professional help (Paid service). Dable’s Content Professional creates thumbnail image and ad title based on abundant amount of campaign data and industrial trend analysis.

② 광고와 연관있는 페이지 연결하기

You can use the hospital’s homepage, blog or a web page created specifically for the ad and so on for the landing page. The landing page and the ad clicked by the customer must be relevant with one another.

Customer encounters ads while exploring content to consume on Dable’s affiliated media. Rather than connecting to the main homepage, cusotmers can more naturally consume the ad content if you connect the ad to a page containing content related to the advertisement.

③ Create an environment to track the ad performance after the click

Dable provides transparent and detailed campaign performance data on the Performance Analysis page. By setting up the following methods, you can track customers who converted to the targeted behavior after clicking on the ad. By referring to the tracked performance data, you can run a more effective ad campaign. (i.e. Increasing CPC bidding on media with no conversion)

  1. Install Dable conversion script : Install Dable conversion script on the page with the targeted behavior you want to track.
  1. Utilize Dable Content : Creating a Dable content type page allows you to track conversions, such as collecting customer info or clicking external links, without installing a conversion script.

3. Operational tips by purpose

① Awareness – Increase awareness

Use the name of the hospital in the ad title so that the custome recognizes the hospital immediately when the ad is exposed.

  • Do you have back pains? Gangnam Dable Orthopedics

Build trust by providing professional information and emphasizing medical specialties.

  • Everything about pimples. Cause and solution?
  • Gangnam ladies’ secrets on getting rid of wrinkles

If your hospital deals with unfamiliar diseases, create a content that emphasizes the need for such medical care.

  • Information you must see if your child is growing up too fast or too slow
  • Key factor in determining a person’s first impression, “Bad breath”

② Consideration – Increase website traffic

Communicate the hospital’s expertise, promotions, latest updates of the disease and hospital to help customers make the decision when exploring different hospitals.

  • Recruiting participants for May implant discount event
  • Snoring is a disease. Finally covered with health insurance

If you have installed Dable conversion script to obtain page visitor information, you can target customers with the history of visiting the landing page and continue to interact with potential customers.

💡 Number of exposures may not be sufficient when you set up remarketing. If you would like to increase the number of exposures, proceed with awareness-increasing campaign without setting up remarketing.

③ Visit (Conversion) – Collect cusotmer leads

Creating a content that only potential customers want to click on can reduce unnecessary ad spending. You can include ‘benefits’, ‘price’, ‘name of specific medical care’ in ad titles.

  • Apply for a $790 benefit exclusive for Seoul residents
  • If you were born before 1981, you can participate in presbyopia treatment

After a sufficient amount of persuasian, request for customer information on the landing page linked to the ad.

Pages with high conversion rate generally include the following :

  • Detailed description about the method, process, machines and treatment
  • Trustworthy reviews from real patients, past experiences of the doctor, features on TV shows and/or celebrity visits
  • Location and business hours of the hospital

5. Create a campaign.

A campaign is a unit of ad optimization. You can set and adjust the budget, campaign period, spending distribution option and targeting of a campaign.

✔️ Dable’s algorithm learns and automatically optimizes campaign performance.
There is no need to set up media or audience targeting. Dable’s excellent personalized recommendation algorithm learns the campaign and automatically publishes high-performing content to target groups and media that are most likely to be interested in the ad content.

✔️ Set the campaign budget.
You can adjust the budget or stop running the ads at any time. Maximum daily budget can be set from ₩10,000 and ads will stop running once the budget is exhausted.

✔️ Choose the budget distribution option.
Selecting ‘Standard Distribution’ consumes your budget faster. If the daily budget is reached, ads will stop running so if the ad needs to be exposed consistently throughout the campaign period, please select ‘Even Distribution’.

✔️ Be careful not to create multiple campaigns with the same objective.
This creates unnecessary competition within the same advertiser. You can upload multiple contents within the same campaign by selecting ‘Multi-Contents Campaign’ after clicking ‘Create Campaign’ or select the existing campaign and click ‘Add Content’.

✔️ Set the maximum CPC.
Maximum CPC is the maximum bid price that the advertiser is willing to pay everytime the user clicks on the ad. Advertiser is charged only when a user clicks on the ad and depending on vCPM, media and etc, various discounts are applied so the actual amount paid may be lower than the maximum CPC set. Rather than setting the maximum CPC high from the beginning, we recommend that you watch the performance and gradually adjust the CPC.

💡 If your ad isn’t getting enough exposure, check the CPC and ad content’s competitiveness. Ads that will be exposed to the same ad space are determined through real-time competition. Various factors, such as the content response index and campaign’s maximum CPC, are used to determine which ad to expose. Increasing the CPC or registering content with a high response index within the budget is effective in securing more exposure opportunities. If you are curious about the average CPC in each industry, you can find it here.

6. Check the campaign performance.

Dable provides an ad performance report with tracked data. Significance of each data provided can be found here. Use performance reports to ensure that your ads are running efficiently and that they are achieving their goals and objectives. Also modify the advertising strategy, if necessary. Important indicators to check vary by campaign’s goal. Check here to see how you can measure the success of your campaign.

    • Min. CPC This is your campaign’s minimum CPC. You cannot set CPC amount less than the minimum CPC.  There are various types of discounts, such as vCPM and media. The actual amount you will pay maybe less than Min. CPC when these discounts are applying to your campaign. If your campaign has run for some time and impression is not enough, try increasing CPC within your budget or add better quality content. When your targeting is too narrow or media selection is too limited, raised CPC or high quality content is needed to secure impression.
    • Industry Average CPC This data is only available in a few countries.  Industry Average CPC shows  3-month-average CPC of ad accounts that are in the same industry as you are. You might want to take this into account when running your actual campaign. It can help you to plan the campaign’s budget or set CPC. Once you run a campaign, You can refer to this data to compare your CPC. Industry Average CPC may be lower than Min. CPC. Industry Average CPC is based on the actual amount advertisers pay, and discounts can be applied according to campaign’s  vCPM and media

FAQ

What is Invalid Click Adjustments?

Invalid clicks refers to clicks or impressions that are either intentionally or accidentally made to artificially inflate an advertiser’s costs or a publisher’s earnings. Dable’s detection system identifies invalid clicks and filters them from the advertiser’s report and payment so that the advertiser will not be charged for these clicks. When we find any invalid clicks that were not detected by our system, the cost of these clicks will be credited to your account. This credit is called the Invalid Click Adjustments.

Here are a few examples of what Dable may consider to be invalid clicks:

  • Manual clicks intended to increase an advertiser’s costs or to increase profits for website owners hosting your ads.
  • Repeated clicks by one or more users.
  • Clicks by automated clicking tools, robots, or other deceptive software.
  • Actions by publishers calling on users to click their ads . (e.g. CTA to click on ads, ad implementations that lead to massive unintended ad clicks)
  • Extraneous clicks that provide no value to the advertiser, such as repeated clicks made by mistake.

Any invalid clicks charged last month will be credited to your account on the 15th of this month. For example, you will see how much adjustment has been made on January 15 for invalid clicks occurred from December 1 to December 31. To see this data, go to ‘Billing’ – ‘Payment History’.

FAQ- How to Set and Run a Campaign

FAQ

Create and manage content

What does ‘Your landing page cannot be crawled’ mean?

If you see this message after entering your landing page URL, it means that the search engine crawler cannot crawl the page. To solve this problem, please create robots.txt file and upload it to the top-level directory.

You can still run your campaign without adding robots.txt file, but ad exposure can be limited in some media sites based on their policies. For details on how to add robots.txt on your landing page, please click here.

What does ‘We recommend using HTTPS for enhanced website security and performance.’ mean?

HTTPS (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol over Secure Socket Layer) is a secure protocol that encrypts data communicated between a server and a web browser.

HTTP does not encrypt data during communication while HTTPS does. So HTTPS keeps data safe from hijackers and protects user privacy. To ensure the safety of users and advertisers, Dable recommends using HTTPS rather than HTTP.

If your landing page URL is already using HTTPS, you will see this message: ‘This landing page is SSL compliant.’

Below are the cases that are considered as ‘not SSL-compliant.’ You can still run an ad without using HTTPS, but ad exposure can be limited due to media policies and Dable can also decide to limit the use of such ad. Noncompliance cases

1. Having no SSL certificate at all or using invalid certificates

The lock icon does not show on the address bar if you do not have any SSL certificatePage does not load when using HTTPS instead of HTTP – SSL certificate has expired

2. Content within the site is using HTTP

– Website is using HTTPS, but the images, sounds and videos within the site are using HTTP

3. The domain authenticated by SSL does not match with the current URL’s domain

The domain address authenticated by SSL does not match with the URL currently in use, In other words, the current URL (domain) cannot be found in the certificate’s SAN list.
Can I use redirect URLs?

To provide the best ad experience to users, Dable does not allow using redirect URLs for landing page URLs. Redirect URLs send users to a page that is different from the URL added during content creation. Shortened URLs, including ‘bit.ly’ are not allowed as well. If a content has a redirect URL, it will be disapproved in the review stage.

I want to create content that collects leads.

If you set your campaign goal to customer lead collection, you can create such content by using Dable’s lead collection form. To create this form, select Mini Content Type or Article Type under Dable Content.

Reasons for content disapproval

1. Incorrect thumbnail image size.

Dable supports images in 16:10 (default), 1:1, and 2:1 ratio. If you upload an image at a 4:3 ratio(Recommended image size: 1600*1200px), it can be automatically adjusted to other 3 ratios mentioned above.

Dable is partnered with various media types, including web portals, apps, blogs and web communities and serves ads on PC and mobile screens. Each site has different designs and mobile sites require the images to be optimized for smaller screens. This is why we need standards for thumbnail size, so that ads can be exposed to various media types and placements.

If you see black areas around the image you uploaded, it means the size is incorrect. Please edit the image and upload again.

2. Images with excessive exposure to certain body parts.

Images that zoom into certain body parts are not allowed. At least two or more body parts should be visible. Images that highlight certain body parts by using circles, arrows or dotted lines are not allowed.

For examples of images, click here.

3. False accusation/information, exaggeration and overstatement in ad text.

Phrases such as ‘government-backed’, ‘government-supported’ or ‘no need to reimburse at all’ are not allowed in ad texts. Use of these phrases may require evidential documents when necessary. Exaggerations such as ‘perfect’, ‘everyone’, ‘at once’, etc. are also not allowed even if the statement is true.

Some expressions such as ‘Lose XX kg!’, ‘Problem solved with just one pill!’, and ‘Complete cure guaranteed!!’ are banned by the Korea Internet Newspaper Association.

Square and round brackets are not allowed, as ads can be misunderstood as news articles.

4. Ad titles and images irrelevant with the landing page.

Dable checks if the content is relevant with its landing page. If it is found to be irrelevant, the content will be disapproved.

e.g. An ad shows cosmetic products in its thumbnail, but the landing page is about stock information.

This also applies to Article type landing pages. Landing page should always show information that is relevant with the ad.

5. ‘Brand name’ is not shown on the landing page.

Advertisers must upload content that is relevant with the registered ad account.

‘Brand name’ is one of the information you must submit during content creation – this is shown to users. Brand name in your content must match with the name registered in your ad account. Also, this name should be visible on the landing page.

What is ‘Image Library’?

Dable provides free image assets to advertisers to help them reduce image production resources and enhance ad performance.

Advertisers can choose from a wide variety of images according to their industry and needs.

They can also check the performance of campaigns that are using images from Image Library. Each image from Image Library will show statistics such as clicks, impressions, ad spent, and response index. These statistics are based on the actual performance of Dable Native Ad for the last 3 months.

When choosing an image, please note that the usage permission will be expired if:

1) Content creation is still incomplete 3 days after saving the image. 2) Content was disapproved 7 days ago but did not request for re-review. 3) Content was created 14 days ago but its campaign is still not activated.

Does Dable have a Content Creation Service?

Yes, we do! We create ad titles and 4 thumbnail images based on our internal data. Please note that this service is not free and you will need to prepare for the landing pages yourself.

  • Service fee: 100,000 KRW per request (Original price: 200,000 KRW)
  • Production period: 7 business days
  • Request for service

This service is currently available in Korea only.

What are the factors that decide response index?

When estimating a response index, we consider various factors such as CTR, impressions, reach, etc

My response index is not shown a negative (-) number.

Response index is shown only if your content has received over 5,000 impressions and 500 clicks over the last 7 days. Besides these two factors, other factors such as media and campaign period are also considered in the calculation process.

If your response index is not shown, it means that the factors mentioned above did not reach the required threshold. The response index will show up once the threshold is reached.

Create and manage campaign

Adjust your CPC to increase ad’s priority and viewability.

When choosing which ads to serve on partner sites, factors such as campaign’s targeting, content quality, and media’s ad serving policy are considered. Many advertisers compete for an ad space, and usually campaigns with high CPC or high-quality content win. For details on CPC bidding settings, click here.

For example, if you increase CPC from 250 KRW to 280 KRW, viewability will increase by 12%. If it is difficult to increase CPC, try creating a high-quality content to increase viewability.

If there is more than one content in a campaign, how are they prioritized in serving?

Content that is most wanted (selected) by users will be automatically chosen.
